Walton-Beckett測微尺，具有直徑100μm圓形視野面(面積約0.00785mm2)，在顯微鏡下能測量石棉纖維的長(cháng)度和寬度，以Walton-Beckett測微尺投射在載玻片之影像范圍及長(cháng)度作為計數之依據。
A規則使用G-22型，B規則使用G-24型，計數板視野是依個(gè)別位相差顯微鏡制作而成，一般與鏡臺測微尺PS12和HSE/NPL檢測玻片配套使用。
Walton-Beckett測微尺屬于目鏡測微尺，選擇時(shí)需要根據自己顯微鏡目鏡筒的限制來(lái)選，一般提供的直徑有16mm,19mm,20.4mm,21mm,23mm,24mm,24.5mm,25mm,26mm,27mm.
